With a deep desire to excel and a dream to impart quality education to the girl child, G.D. Birla Centre for Education was established in South Kolkata in 1973 by our founders Shri B.K. Birla and Shrimati Sarala Birla. The school has grown over the years and long been established as one of the best ICSE schools in Kolkata. The school, while maintaining standard education and holistic development of the students is a girls’ school till class XII. However, we also run a separate co-educational section in the morning for Classes XI and XII.
